The Bookhoover in Japan?
Our first crowdfunding campaign on Startnext was a great success. Thanks to the support of our community, we were able to launch the Bookhoover and work on new variations. One day, we received an inquiry that particularly delighted us: we were asked if we would like to offer our Bookhoover in Japan.
Japan is a country known for its love of literature and innovative technology. We saw this as an exciting opportunity to introduce our product to a new market. After providing all the necessary information, images, and videos, we launched our second crowdfunding campaign, this time on two Japanese platforms - Makuake and Campfire. The response was once again overwhelming, and after just a few weeks, we had reached our goal.
What exactly is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is an innovative method for financing projects or products, where a multitude of people (the so-called "crowd") contribute financially to achieve a common goal. This allows entrepreneurs and creatives to turn their ideas into reality without relying on traditional financing methods. Crowdfunding platforms like Startnext bring project creators and supporters together, creating a win-win situation.
We were deeply moved and grateful for the support we received from Japan and around the world. Our crowdfunding project allowed us to expand our reach and explore new avenues. But more importantly, we had the opportunity to delight people in Japan and enhance their reading experience.

Our journey to Japan was a significant milestone for Bookhoover. It showed us that much can be achieved when you have a community that supports you.
