We're in the newspaper!

Our startup Bookhoover was recently featured in the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, and we are absolutely thrilled about it. Even though it's a bit strange to see yourself in the newspaper, founder Daniel has gotten used to it and is now proud of it. After all, it's not every day that a journalist visits our office 😉

 

 

🤔 How did you come up with such an idea?

The editor asked Daniel about the idea, the beginnings of the startup, and the hurdles we faced. So Daniel told her about the speed reading course he took over 3 years ago and the idea of making his own reading aid. The first prototype? A clever combination of a perfume cap and a finger attachment! Daniel attracted many curious glances while reading on the train, and quite a few people asked him what he was wearing on his finger. Daniel then thought to himself, "If it helps me, then this gadget might be interesting for other people too!" And so the idea of product development was born! ✨
